Chicago Counseling Associates (CCA) is dedicated to providing and teaching client-centered therapy in the tradition begun by Carl Rogers and carried forward by his students and community internationally. Our staff have been particularly influenced by training at the Chicago Counseling and Psychotherapy Center (CCPC, 1971-2001), an outgrowth of the original University of Chicago Counseling Center founded by Dr. Rogers in 1945. At CCA, we continue the CCPC tradition of high quality, affordable counseling services for individuals, intimate partners, and families, and we support the development of the person-centered approach through our graduate student internships, post graduate fellowships, and continuing education and consultation programs.
